UPDATE 5 MAY: SORRY WE HAVE SOLD OUT - Why not try getting tickets for one of our Spring/Summer coffee shop small networking events.

Do you aspire to lead or contribute to the board of a private, public sector or charitable organisation? Do you want to hear personal and business insights from a successful New Zealand business woman who has been on numerous boards here in London?

On Monday the 16th of May the New Zealand Business Women’s Network is running an event for all network members that are interested in progressing to a more senior level of responsibility in an organisation, whether it is private or public sector or a charitable organisation. This can include those women wanting to become members on Boards or Committees or just wanting to achieve a more senior role in an organisation.

We have Sadly Sold Out.

thumbnail.aspxDame Judith Mayhew Jonas DBE, a New Zealand-born British lawyer and academic, will be speaking and opening up the discussion for the evening. Dame Judith rose from practicing as an employment lawyer to become Special Adviser to the Chairman at Clifford Chance, the world's largest law firm, before resigning to concentrate on her other roles. In 2006 she was appointed to the Board of Directors of Merrill Lynch. She served as Provost of King's College, Cambridge from 2003-2005. She has also been closely involved in the running of the City of London since 1986. She was awarded the DBE (Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in 2002 "for services to the City of London". These are just some of Dame Judith’s achievements. For more details see:

Following a general Q&A session with Dame Judith, there will be small table discussions on a wide variety of areas relating to women being in Board positions. Each table will have at least one person who has Board experience and they will lead discussions on an area they have a keen interest or expertise in. If there is a particular topic you are interested to hear about or discuss, then please email info@nzwomen.co.uk and we will try to ensure that there is a discussion around your interest.

We are very fortunate to have Louise Taylor from Taylor Wessing host us for the evening at their offices at 5 New Street Square, EC4A 3TW. The event will start at 6:30pm with drinks and nibbles, with the formal proceedings kicking off at 7:00pm. We will be finished and by 9:30pm.

All Tickets now gone Sorry!
