Molly's son, the very talented, Daniel Bedingfield will be performing an intimate concert exclusively for the New Zealand Business Women's Network with proceeds going to his charities Stop the Traffik and Global Angels.

Daniel Bedingfield's pop wizardry earned him a BRIT Award, six U.K. Top 10 singles and 4 million in album sales from 2001 to 2004.  Now, after eight years, the songwriter who rocketed to the top of the pop world with Gotta Get Thru This and If Your Not The One is back in a huge way. The son of New Zealand philanthropists who relocated to London to work in the areas affected by the Brixton riots, Bedingfield and his two talented sisters, Natasha and Nikola Rachelle (The Golden Phoenix), were reared in a musical household surrounded by the diverse rock and pop sounds of the time - as well as the reggae embraced by his family's many Jamaican friends.  Ambitious, bold, brazen even; with his EP Daniel is taking a distinctly different approach from his former pop-loving, uber-calculated chart topping debut and venturing into brave new territory to carve out his claim as the wild and diverse wide-eyed crooner he's always been.

I’d been on a leadership
programme and they had set the challenge of creating an event
within a three-month period. I thought, ‘What about an event
bringing together New Zealand business women,’ because
there was a hole in the expat community in that regard.
“The success of that first event was amazing. I could see
there was a need for something more than just a one-off event.
We started off with fifty women on that first night and now
there are over six hundred on our New Zealand Business
Women’s Network database.”
By choice, this is not a narrowly focussed network but
includes big business owners and corporate career women
through to independent contractors and the self-employed.
This brings with it a cross-pollination of ideas, something
Bronwen sees all too rarely in a city where specialisation by
trade and profession is more the norm. The network’s members
are bound together by a strong connection with New Zealand
and a collective ‘can do’ attitude. It’s not a numbers game
for Bronwen: the network’s raison d’être is to foster strong
relationships between people so they can work effectively
together and share ideas

The New Zealand Business Women's Network featured in Issue 23 (June/July) of the Latitude Magazine in New Zealand! In the article Bronwen Horton is interviewed about the network and fundraising efforts for the Canterbury Earthquakes in London. Excerpt below:

Summer Events

Today we released the first of our Summer Series of events, within an hour we sold out. Never fear if you missed a ticket for Sundays 'Flash' Event at Long White Cloud we have a VERY big event coming up on July 2nd... expect an email to hit your inbox in the coming days. We have a special guest speaker organised and pssssttt, don't tell anyone but it's our third birthday!! Over 700 Kiwi Women are now linked in our network around the UK and London and we think its time to celebrate.
