Congratulations to Bronwen, founder of the New Zealand Business Women’s Network – she has been recognised by The International Alliance for Women (TIAW) as a 2011 TIAW World of Difference 100 Award winner.
The award recognises individuals whose efforts have advanced the economic empowerment of women locally, regionally or worldwide. Nominations were received from around the globe, and the award winners are the individuals that embody the TIAW motto: “Connecting to Make all the Difference in the World” in women’s economic empowerment.
Bronwen is one of two New Zealanders to be recognised by The International Alliance for Women in 2011, and was nominated under the Corporate (Individual Women) category by Christina Ioannidis, Founder and sponsor of www.aquitude.com.
Bronwen is travelling to Washington DC to receive her award at at the World of Difference Awards Dinner being held October 27, 2011 as part of the TIAW Global Forum at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC.
