I joined the New Zealand Business Women’s Network last year.  I’d never participated much in anything Kiwi since leaving New Zealand - I guess I came here to “get away” from it for a few years - but after being away so long I realised I missed it and the people and our culture. I wanted to reacquaint myself with our fabulous country and all it offers both in New Zealand and abroad.

Introducing Jo Kearins, Associate Director at Luther Pendragon - an independent integrated communications agency. Jo is originally from Te Kuiti in the King Country. After attending the University of Auckland and graduating with a BCom majoring in Marketing, Jo set off for London to do her 'big OE' in 1996. Since then, Jo has had two stints back home in Auckland, interspersed with four years in Amsterdam and now the UK again having returned in early 2011 as part of a secondment assignment with Insurance Australia Group.

Currently on garden leave before joining specialist communications agency Luther Pendragon, Jo is a senior communications professional with experience ranging from internal communications, marketing, media relations, PR, culture change, leadership communications, research, and business transformation across a number of different sectors and countries.
